Villa Pilos

Beautifully restored inside and out, this stylish villa is set amongst ancient olive groves and is just steps away from the crystal waters of the Ionian Sea. A path leads down through the olive trees to sea access via a ladder and, in high season only, a jetty. You can walk to several beaches via a footpath - suitable footwear is needed though due to the uneven ground.

The modern coastal interiors use a palette of neutral colours for floors, walls and furniture, layered with soft furnishings in maritime blues, crisp stripes and colourful patterned fabrics. Both the airy open plan living/dining room and eat-in kitchen open onto a terrace. The ground-floor master bedroom also has a private terrace and the three bedrooms on the lower level all have exterior access.

Outside, multi-level patios provide plenty of spaces to enjoy the wonderful sea views; there’s a covered dining area for 8, further casual eating space with stone seating built into the terraced wall and covered with plump cushions, well-positioned sun loungers, floor cushions and outdoor rugs for lounging. An eye-catching, sinuously curved, infinity pool appears to balance above the blue waters below and merge with the horizon.
